l$() = ItemSplit$(s${,d$})

This function takes a delimited string list (s$) and populates a string array with each item from the delimited string. As with all the delimited string functions the delimiter character (d$) is optional and will default to a comma if not specified.

The first item in a delimited string is item zero. This is to match item number to array indexes.

For example:

dim l$(0)
s$ = "zero,one,two,three,four"

l$() = ItemSplit$(s$)

l$(0) = "zero"
l$(1) = "one"
l$(2) = "two"
l$(3) = "three"
l$(4) = "four"

Since the delimiter character is not specified a comma is assumed to be the delimiter.
